Living in the shadow of the Olympic Mountains near the Olympic National Park allows me the luxury of incredible photo opportunities, literally, in my own back yard. Rugged mountain peaks, river valleys and rocky coastlines dotted with lighthouses and spectacular sea stacks gives me a never ending variety of photo subjects to pursue and capture.
Throw in countless fauna and flora species that populate and visit the Pacific Northwest and you have all the elements to keep a landscape/wildlife photographer content for many years!
Yet, with all the natural beauty the Pacific Northwest provides us, the human element is a major part of life here as well.
We love our sports and outdoor activities. Bicycling, sailing, running, hiking, baseball, equestrian pursuits, even car racing and more! And where there is activity that is worth recording, I with camera in hand, enjoy being there capturing a moment in time. Images that last a life time and will be past on to the next generation, showing us in competition, endurance or just having fun!
